Do you have sometimes that feeling that you’re just disconnected from the world? When something terrible happens, for example the loss of a person, and time just seems to stop and everything just feels like in a haze. In just a couple of years I had to deal with a lot of deaths, and it never gets easier to me. It happened recently, a persno I looked up to passed away, and I was (and still am) very sad. It’s sort of difficult that I’ve had so many experiences of this kind, but the Boy had none, so he doesn’t fully understand how hard it is for me. But that’s ok. I don’t wish something like this to happen to him.
We’ve gotten a couple of comments about a former post, and I think I should repost something I wrote in a comment before:

Because of my culture and personal opinion, I consider us to be still too young and too early into the relationship to live together (one of the first options for LDR couples if they don’t have much money to relocate). Luckily Boy agrees with my position. However, we are both exploring options to be able to spend more than a couple of weeks in each other’s country (be it work, education, etc). In the spirit of keeping this blog as anonymous as we can, we prefer to not give much insight of issues that are stopping us right now from throwing our arms to the air and just be together physically (e.g.: we mention money problems, but we don’t specify much behind that point.). All that being said, yes, it is one of our long term goals (if not, we don’t see much of a point on being LDR) and we hope that sooner or later it will become true.

We don’t think jumping into marriage is a good way to solve problems. We don’t believe in just doing it to have the possibility to be in the same country. We want to first overcome those obstacles, and then if time and the feeling is right, may be.
Girl.
